The CI Team has arrived! We went to the airport tonight to pick up the group, which came in on a record 7 different flights. There were a couple mishaps and delayed flights, but when it was all said and done we had our team, and left the airport only 15 minutes later than I was hoping. After our airport run we had a two-hour bus ride to our hotel in Taichung. This is always a little discouraging after 24+ hours of travel, but many of the teachers slept.

As we began this trip I challenged our team to think and to act as the body of Christ—to remember that we're in this together, not only as individuals. I believe that God is doing great things in and through our lives, and that He's going to use this trip for His Kingdom. As fellow believers we have a responsiblity to the other members of Christ's body, to love and care for them, to sharpen each other, and to hold one another up before the throne of grace. God used some verses in Hebrews chapter 10 to challenge me with these thoughts. "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

For tomorrow's update look under the Taichung heading!
