January 17, 2006—Welcome to Taiwan!

Today was filled with final office preparations for the seminars in Taichung, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, and Taipei. We shipped out hundreds of boxes for book sales and craft supplies, mailed out the final registrations, and packed up the office for a month.

Most of the team arrived on two United Airlines flights shortly after 9pm. It's always exciting to be on the arrival side of customs waiting for your friends to come through! After greeting everyone and numerous headcounts we boarded the bus for the 2.5 hour ride to Taichung.

On the bus we passed out welcome bags, helpful info letters, and officially welcomed everyone to Taiwan. The team was doing really well despite the long flights and new places. Shortly after midnight we arrived at our hotel and sent everyone off to bed.

So it begins!
